Return Policy

Although highly unlikely, there may be times when you will need to return a product purchased from us, or exchange it for a different design. Our Returns Policy is designed to assist you with your return. The benefits given by our Returns Policy are in addition to other rights and remedies you may have as a consumer under Consumer Law. 


 

WHAT IS THE CHIBEBE LIMITED WARRANTY?

You are entitled to a replacement, credit or refund where products have a major failure, such as:
  
  •   When it is faulty
  •   Wrongly described
  •   Different from a sample shown to you; or
  •   Do not do what they are supposed to do



EXCLUSIONS 

We are not able to offer a refund for beans, as they are purchased by us through a 3rd party entity and delivered to you through them. We are not responsible for any damage or claims made in relation to the Snuggle Pod filling. Please refer to the filling manufacturer for this.


In some cases a refund, replacement or repair may not be offered if you:

  •   Substantially modify the product; 
  •   Misuse the product contrary to user instructions or packaging labels; or
  •   Simply change your mind.



EXCHANGES (Change Of Mind)

We are not required to replace your product if you simply change your mind.  However, if you are not happy with your product, we may, at our discretion, decide to exchange it providing the product is returned to us in its original packaging with proof of purchase. Please note return postage will be at your cost however we will cover the shipping cost of posting out a new one to you. Exchanges will be for same item or another to the same value. Any extra costs for a more expensive choice by you will be at your expense. If you are unsatisfied with a product or the service you have received from a Chibebe stockist, please contact them direct. EXPENSES

Any expenses relating to the return of your product to a physical store will have to be paid by you. For online store purchases only, we will pay for return freight for any product assessed as having a major defect after we receive it, and only if a postage receipt is included with the returned item.


 

WARRANTY COVERAGE

Chibebe warranty lasts for 12 months from date of purchase. It is void if the product has been determined by us as washed or used within this timeframe.

Purchases made through physical or online stores other than chibebe.com must provide proof of purchase to be eligible for warranty coverage.


 

REFUNDS

Where a refund is to be made for order placed online at Chibebe.com, we will credit the account from which the original payment was debited. Refunds may take up to 14 business days to appear in to your account after a refund has been approved.
